Folk and simple historical costume construction

the uniforms designed by Tatlin and other Constructivists; the Antineutral Suit manifesto by the Futurists Balla, Marinetti and Depero; Malevich’s theater costumes; Sonia Delaunay’s prints and designs, etc. It was through this lens that I started looking at indigenous dressmaking: not as a primitive object, but in terms of its artistry and the way it was made.
