How to cultivate moss

Muck
1. Make muck by mixing 1 part potter's clay and 1 part humus (eg. milled sphagnum moss, leaf mold etc), to a consistency of soft putty. This will adhere to a variety of surfaces.
2. Moisten the surface to be planted, coat it with the muck in desired patte
3. Press the collected moss onto the much and keep it misted a few times a day
Tray and sand
1. Use a shallow container with small drainage holes
2. Add an inch of sand into the bottom. Mist till it is damp
3. Mince moss very finely with a razor blade, then sprinkle evenly on the surface of the sand
4. Mist once a day to prevent drying out
5. Ready in 2 weeks
Bricks and rocks
1. Dry collected moss in the sun.
2. Blend moss with some beer or butter milk or water, till it turns into a paste with the consistency of mortar
3. Place a brick or rock in a tray of water, then spread the paste on top of the brick
4. Mist daily
